SEWING WORKSHOPS

Days before the pandemic...
W lutym 2020 roku, gdy w Wielkiej Brytanii odnotowano pierwsze dwa przypadki COVID-19, Alicja miała przywilej poprowadzić swoje pierwsze warsztaty szycia latawców dla grupy White Horse Kite Flyers w Swindon (UK). Kilka tygodni przygotowań, sprawna korespondencja z organizatorami warsztatów, dwa bardzo emocjonujące dni, dobre jedzenie i ciężka praca doprowadziły do znakomitych rezultatów.

Are you interested
in organizing
a sewing kite workshop?
How does it work?
Individuals or organisations wishing to organise a workshop provide the venue. The venue must be equipped with workshop stations (tables and chairs).
The organiser may but does not have to provide the sewing machines.
It is a common practice for kite workshops participants to come to the workshop with their own machines, thread and scissors.
Together we decide what type of kite we will build, which depends, among other things, on the participants' skill level.
Participants choose the colours and/or patterns of their kites and Alicja starts to prepare the kits.
The number of participants can vary from a few to a maximum of 20.

All workshop kits include: pre-cut fabric pieces, reinforcements, bridle lines, end caps, pre-cut bags’ fabric, carbon tubes, workshop manual, and printed pattern, which can be reused.
