SEWING WORKSHOPS

Days before the pandemic...
In February 2020, when first two COVID-19 cases were reported in the UK, Alicja had a privilege to run her first kite-sewing workshop for the White Horse Kite Flyers in Swindon, UK. Few weeks of preparation, efficient correspondence with the workshop organizers, two very emotional days, good food and hard work have led to brilliant results. 15 out of 16 CiQuare kites were completed, kite no. 16 only needed some more sewing on the tail. Among the participants there was one, for whom it was the first kite made by hand and he managed to finish the kite, and the bags as well!
Alicja worked as a business and soft skills trainer in the past, and the combination of her teaching skills and kite making skills works pretty well! We are super happy to continue this path.
Alicja has led sewing kite workshops in the UK, Finland, USA and Italy.

KIDS WORKSHOPS
Are you interested
in organizing
a sewing kite workshop?
How does it work?
Individuals or organisations wishing to organise a workshop provide the venue. The venue must be equipped with workshop stations (tables and chairs).
The organiser may but does not have to provide the sewing machines as well.
It is a common practice for participants to come to the workshop with their own machines, thread and scissors.
Together we decide what type of kite we will build, which depends, among other things, on the participants' skill level.
Participants choose the colours and/or patterns of their kites and Alicja starts to prepare the kits.
The number of participants can vary from a few to a maximum of 20.
